The Comment Actions plugin for WordPress 3.X or higher is you’re little friend that could. As the name states which is about plugin comments and people taking actions.
This plugin aims to:
- Get the users attention, in a passive type way (soon to be optional)
- Ask people to comment
- ‘Point’ them in the right direction
- Increase user interactivity
Basically the idea is this: Most people will not comment on your articles! It’s a known fact. But there are ways to increase the number of people who comment. One way is to ask them to comment and point them in the right direction.
Asking your readers to comment over and over can be tiring and tendious at best! Therefore this plugin aims to fix all that.
The current released version of the plugin does:
- Adds one of the five built in comments to the bottom on each POST (not pages)
- Adds arrows at the bottom of the posts pointing the way to your comments.
- Arrows and comments are chosen at random.
Admin options:
- Enable or disable any one (or many) comments individually.
- Enable or disable any one (or many) of the arrow’s.
WHERE TO FIND THE OPTIONS MENU: It’s located under the “Comments” main menu option.
DEMO: See my home page: http://www.piotrkrzyzek.com. Each post has this included.
Planned features:
- Ability to set how image arrows show up (currently in-progress)
- Show comment ‘hints’ only on posts which are X days old or older
- Show comment ‘hints’ only on posts which are X days old or newer
- A/B testing features
- Admin ability to add/delete any number of comments and images
- Built in image management/upload
- Comment – Image sets
- Redirection to another page (onsite or offsite) after user comments
- ‘Ask’ person to comment on page exit
- Statistics
- ‘Comment hint’ location change (before social buttons, before content …ectect)
- Word/Sentence spinning
- AJAX Float bar
- More ‘aggressive’ suggestions
